Why Zinc?
The majority of herb grinders in this class are made from cheaper and lighter aluminum. Aluminum grinders have the tendency to flake off micro-particles into your herbs as the grinder is being used. This can be very dangerous! The Gorilla Grinder is forged from heavy weight zinc that weighing almost twice that of an aluminum grinder. The high quality zinc used does not flake off or create dangerous herb grinds.
